Born in 1975 in Colorado, I've spent my life working on mastering computers and technology. The first time I connected to the internet was on a Commodore VIC-20 and a rotary phone with a cradle modem. I also enjoy cooking, fishing and the sweetest little monster in the world, Cheyenne, My Papillion.

Alot of people question weather I really run my own server or host it somewhere… The answer is, yes, I do really run my own Samba Domain Controller (Which will lie to your Windows Machine and tell it that’s it’s an Active Directory Controller), Email Server, Web Server and Print Server.

This is my Linux Mint Dell R730xd fully loaded. The only thing that isn’t maxed out is the hard drives on the raid array.

All I can say is that yes, I worked on the first Alpha Integration of Active Directory and Understand SMB very very well. WireShark and I are good friends. It’s not hard to run a true proper server.

Oh, and I also have those maxed out cores mining Crypto for some passive income.

Working at TIG, I was able to standardize workbench’s and procedures prior to contract approval. This allowed me to guide the direction of the project and accomplish the objective early (20,400 students/3,500 staff). The Above shot was the final stop for all the new Microsoft Surface Laptops ready to be asset tagged and shipped off to the respective schools.

My Desktop Configuration for TIG

Working at TIG, I was able to standardize workbench’s and procedures prior to contract approval. This allowed me to guide the direction of the project and accomplish the objective early (20,400 students/3,500 staff). The Above shot was the workbench configuration I had for repairs to Desktops, Chromebooks and Laptops.

During the Advent Deployment, every computer came with a keyboard and a mouse (I’m kicking myself now that I didn’t take a picture of the massive amount of leftover non-compliant mice we had). Everyone of the Keyboards & Mice that were shipped with the units were non-compliant for hospital use as they could not be washed and sanitized. The end result was a TON of keyboards and mice that we couldn’t use, had to re-deploy compliant washable/sanitize-able keyboard / mice.

Advent WoW Before
Advent WoW After

Before and After of the WoW’s for Advent Health. What do you see that’s wrong with the before and fixed on the after? 1st everything was bound into one bundle that was so banjo-tight, you couldn’t move the monitor and could play “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” on it. 2nd problem, the power button was inaccessible where the micro form factor PC was placed. They also used commercial velcro instead of Medical Grade Velcro (Prior to this project, I didn’t even know there was such a thing).
